Emerald Anastasia Burroughs Culler is a 10-year-old husky mix. She loves Milk-Bones®, playing in the sunshine, car rides, going on long walks, and of course, her family. She is so excited to share her stories with the world!

Author and Illustrator Bios:
Beth Burroughs Culler adopted Emery in 2014. She and Emery live in North Carolina with Beth’s husband and Emery’s dad, Drew. Beth teaches high school and is involved with the youth at her church. Beth is a proud graduate of High Point University and earned her master’s degree in Reading Education from Appalachian State University, where she decided she wanted to write children’s books. In fact, Beth adopted Emery to celebrate her graduation from App State! In their free time, Beth and Emery love to cuddle and enjoy the outdoors. They are excited about this

Ann Marie Jones has taught art in elementary, middle, and high school over the last 25 years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She lives in Thomasville, NC, with her husband Keith, children Emily and Andrew, and three cats. She enjoys painting, cooking, and traveling to the beach and mountains in North Carolina with her family.
