High Point, NC – February 26, 2024 – Harvest Boards & Bowls (Harvest), a health-conscious restaurant in Downtown High Point is excited to announce its strategic partnership with Growing High Point (GHP), a nonprofit dedicated to transforming under-resourced neighborhoods through community engagement, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
This partnership will kick off with Harvest’s Grand Opening event Saturday March 2nd, where a featured ingredient will be sourced from Growing High Point’s urban garden. Guests can enjoy a BOGO offer on salads (11am-2pm) and have a chance to win great giveaways, including Free Salads/Wraps for a Year, a branded Stanley 40 oz Cup, a $50 Gift Card to Stock + Grain Food Hall, and more.
Harvest’s mission is to provide thoughtfully sourced, high-quality ingredients and quick service while supporting local communities. By partnering with GHP, Harvest aims to further its mission. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Growing High Point,” said Kim, Founder of Harvest Boards & Bowls. “Their dedication to transforming neighborhoods and empowering communities is inspiring. Together, we’re excited to nourish bodies and build a stronger, healthier future for all.”
Growdega, Growing High Point’s mobile grocery store, will be onsite for this event to demonstrate how the organization provides fresh, healthy foods to food desert areas in the community.
“Growdega’s purpose is to increase access to locally grown produce, and this aligns well with Harvest’s goals,” said Jodi Sarver, GHP’s Executive Director. “For this event, GHP will sell a limited-time $10 Jute grocery tote, and shoppers will receive 10% off at the grand opening and every time they shop at Growdega at the High Point Farmers Market.”
The partnership between Harvest Boards & Bowls and Growing High Point is a testament to the power of collaboration and shared values. As they continue to work together, both organizations are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
The Grand Opening Event will be held at Harvest Boards & Bowls located inside the Stock + Grain Assembly Food Hall (275 N Elm St High Point, NC 27262). Business High Point is hosting the ribbon cutting at 11:30 am on March 2nd, which is also Social Saturday in Downtown High Point.
